Ajaccio beat its rival Strasbourg 4-2 in a match that brought them together in the 14th round of the French Football League.
Strasbourg advanced with two clean goals, scored by Jean Resner Belgard and Kevin Gameiro in the sixth and 17th minutes, before Youssef Belaili reduced the score with a penalty kick in the 33rd minute.
Monem El Idrissi equalized the score for Ajaccio in the 34th minute, then Belaili returned to put his team ahead with another penalty kick, scoring the third goal in the 40th minute.
In the last minute of the first half, Riyad Nouri scored the fourth goal.
With this result, Ajaccio raised its score to 11 points in 17th place, and Strasbourg's balance stopped at 10 points in 18th place.
