About 100 former players from Hapoel Jerusalem, who starred in the club from the 1950s to the early 2000s, will be honored before the match between Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Tel Aviv (Tuesday, 20:15) at Teddy Stadium, with a recognition ceremony held for them.
Among the stars of the past who are expected to attend the ceremony will be Eli Ben Rimoz, Michel Dayan, Ali Othman, Avraham Ben David and Dodo Dahan.
The players will gather in the VIP room at Teddy, where each player will receive a certificate of appreciation, a gift and a lifetime subscription to Hapoel Jerusalem's home games.
After him, they will march on the grass, for a short ceremony in front of the stands of the team's fans.
The chairman of the club, Yotam Carmon: "We are very excited for the event and invest a lot of time and thought into it.
The fans have received so much from the players over the years, and now is our time to give back.
I call on everyone who cares about Hapoel Jerusalem to come to the stands on Tuesday and honor our beloved past players."
