With a dream goal, super talent Maurice Krattenmacher contributed to the 2-0 victory of SpVgg Unterhaching against Buchbach.

The 17-year-old's flight could lead to the Bundesliga.

Unterhaching

– Does he say it again, does he not say it this time?

Among the football reporters who report on SpVgg Unterhaching, the club's weekly WhatsApp messages in the media chat are now a "running gag".

24 hours before kick-off, assistant coach Thomas Kasparetti describes the personnel situation - and gives an outlook on the upcoming game, which usually consists of the same worded we-want-to-win phrase.

So this time, before the regional league home game of the leaders against TSV Buchbach: "We will continue to attack," was the usual announcement.

The 1850 spectators in the local sports park had to wait a long time for the promised attacks by the red-blue team.

This was partly due to the fact that Buchbach built up a defensive bulwark with a five-man chain and Haching actually only had one significant chance in the first half with a header from Patrick Hobsch (20th).

So why did Haching start out so cautious?

Head coach Sandro Wagner later explained this at the press conference: “The boys had a Halloween party.

I think there was still something in the back of one or the other." In the dressing room, Wagner explained to his players: "That was nothing!"

The half-time speech had an effect, in the second half the statisticians didn't record a single shot on goal by TSV Buchbach.

But two goals by SpVgg Unterhaching – and what kind!

67 minutes of the game: Directly in front of the Haching fans' standing room block, Sebastian Maier swings a corner wide to the left corner of the penalty area, where Maurice Krattenmacher takes the ball perfectly and, almost from a standing start, flicks it sensitively into the far corner to make it 1-0.

70th minute: Sebastian Maier acts as a set-up again, this time a long cross directly in front of the goal – Markus Schwabl lurks at the right post, takes the ball directly and almost bursts with joy at his 2-0 lead.

"After a bad week of training, we won the game in a comfortable manner," concluded Sandro Wagner.

When asked about the technical perfection of Maurice Krattenmacher's dream goal, the coach said of the 17-year-old super talent: "He's hardworking, he's hungry, those are the attributes.

When you have as much talent as Maurice and the right attitude in your head, it's hard to stop him from playing in the Bundesliga one day."

In his analysis, the Buchbach trainer Andreas Bichlmaier praised the "dynamics of Haching", which ultimately made the difference.

In the table, the Hachinger Herbstmeister are still at the top after this 15th win of the season at the start of the second half of the season.

The next challenge is on Saturday (2 p.m.) at FV Illertissen, who are threatened with relegation.

Unless everything goes wrong, the leader will “attack again” there as well, what else?
