None of this happened.
Maccabi Tel Aviv brought home Eran Zahavi, who seems very far from his prime and his arrival has a negative effect (not his fault of course) on everything that happens to the team.
His arrival forced Ivic into a three-stop formation, but that's not the right formation when you don't have two dominant defenders.

The fact that they play five in defense means that Maccabi Tel Aviv loses another creative player in the attack and so it turns out that one of the best players last season, Parfa Giagon, does not show up and hardly gets minutes because Ivić cannot start with him and Gloch as two of the link trio.
But none of this is an excuse for Ivitch.
His game management against Nes Ziona was bad.
He stayed 17 minutes in the second half with a defensive five against a team with a player disadvantage and no real desire or ability to go forward.
In addition, Maccabi Tel Aviv's offensive game is very patterned. As soon as Ness Ziona shut down the attack pattern that Saborit creates from the blocking position together with Gloch and Davidazda, Maccabi Tel Aviv had no offensive ideas.
Jovanovich ran and tried again and again (nine scoring attempts - the highest amount this season by a player in one game), but he is not sharp, Zahabi lacks half a second in almost every action and if Gloch does not bring his moment of magic, it is difficult for Maccabi Tel Aviv to score.
It will be interesting to see when Ivić will make the necessary decision and move to a formation that is more suitable for his team.
This move will require a decision to be made as to which of the two, Zahavi or Jovanovich, will start as a striker and in addition who Ivić will place in the wings (Giagon did it well in Netanya, the question is whether Ivić counts him as such).
Maybe it will happen already on Tuesday in Teddy, but as far as Maccabi Tel Aviv is concerned, it could turn out to be a big miss at the end of the season, because it has already missed its opportunity to escape and take advantage of the load of Haifa and B.S.

Maccabi Haifa organized professionally in an excellent way for the season and just before the closing of the European transfer window.
