Ivić is disappointing, Breda is exciting and Berkovic is surprising: the summary of the 11th season in the Premier League | Israel today

The Serbian coach said after the loss in Turner that he will go with the 'I believe in me' but in the meantime he is wrong in managing the game. In other groups, Nir Berkovich miraculously brings water out of the rock • Uri Uzan concludes

The Disappointment - Vladimir Ievich

Before the start of each broadcast from the Premier League, we receive the split of the guesses of the winner customers.

On Saturday in Bloomfield, an unusual percentage that I don't remember like, 96% of the winner guessers, went with Maccabi Tel Aviv and only 2% went with the sensation of Nir Berkovich and Nes Ziona. One could understand the guessers, considering the perfect home balance of Maccabi Tel Aviv and the desire of the yellows to make up for the bad performance in Turner.

Except that the Wiener customers did not take into account (and to tell the truth, the game commentator also thought like them) the last performances of Ness Ziona and the fact that the team from the last place also gave a good fight in Sami Ofer to Maccabi Haifa and certainly in Turner where they saved a point from B.S. She did not park a bus in her yard, but with a desire to play her football and try to play offensively as much as her tools allow.

Vladimir Ivic, despite declaring from midweek that he will go with what he believes in, started again with five defenders, two midfielders and only three attacking players.

The game went the way the yellows wanted, despite disappointing ability and a low pace of play.

Golsa's goal and Osman's dismissal, Nes Ziona's most important player, seemed like an introduction to the top five.

But when you play wrong and the coach doesn't go with what he believes in, it can't last long.

Nes Ziona returned to the game towards the end of the half with a beautiful goal by Stoyanov after a great pass by Lial Chana (an impressive debut in the lineup in the Premier League) and from there all the problems of Maccabi Tel Aviv and its coach were exposed.

When you build a team for the season, you don't bring in everyone and then try to put the pieces together, it's rare that it succeeds (Maccabi Tel Aviv knows this very well from its failed Galacticos project).

Building a team is an art (as Maccabi Haifa showed this season when they brought in two great defenders who balance each other and a striker who complements them).

They bring what is right and suitable for the coach so that he creates the football he wants and loves, or in the case of Ivic - tough football, with a strong defensive center, an aggressive and dominant link and two wing players who make the defenders miserable and put pressure and defensive work no less than the forwards.

None of this happened.

Maccabi Tel Aviv brought home Eran Zahavi, who seems very far from his prime and his arrival has a negative effect (not his fault of course) on everything that happens to the team.

His arrival forced Ivic into a three-stop formation, but that's not the right formation when you don't have two dominant defenders.

In addition, Stipa Fritza, a great league striker, left due to becoming the third striker in the hierarchy.

The fact that they play five in defense means that Maccabi Tel Aviv loses another creative player in the attack and so it turns out that one of the best players last season, Parfa Giagon, does not show up and hardly gets minutes because Ivić cannot start with him and Gloch as two of the link trio.

But none of this is an excuse for Ivitch.

His game management against Nes Ziona was bad.

He stayed 17 minutes in the second half with a defensive five against a team with a player disadvantage and no real desire or ability to go forward.

In addition, Maccabi Tel Aviv's offensive game is very patterned. As soon as Ness Ziona shut down the attack pattern that Saborit creates from the blocking position together with Gloch and Davidazda, Maccabi Tel Aviv had no offensive ideas.

Jovanovich ran and tried again and again (nine scoring attempts - the highest amount this season by a player in one game), but he is not sharp, Zahabi lacks half a second in almost every action and if Gloch does not bring his moment of magic, it is difficult for Maccabi Tel Aviv to score.

It will be interesting to see when Ivić will make the necessary decision and move to a formation that is more suitable for his team.

This move will require a decision to be made as to which of the two, Zahavi or Jovanovich, will start as a striker and in addition who Ivić will place in the wings (Giagon did it well in Netanya, the question is whether Ivić counts him as such).

Maybe it will happen already on Tuesday in Teddy, but as far as Maccabi Tel Aviv is concerned, it could turn out to be a big miss at the end of the season, because it has already missed its opportunity to escape and take advantage of the load of Haifa and B.S.

The best - Eliniv Barda

Maccabi Haifa organized professionally in an excellent way for the season and just before the closing of the European transfer window.

Hapoel BS, on the other hand, showed that its professional management is very far from that of the Greens. It did not bring in reinforcements after securing promotion to the group stage (a move that may have cost it in retrospect) and did not properly prepare the staff in terms of player registration - Gordana and Martinesh did not register, Keltins and Alhamid left Yes.

And despite all this, Eliniv Barda managed to keep his players in an impressive manner and precisely towards the end of the group stage, in a period that should be the most busy and tough in terms of BS (and as evidenced by the crash of Haifa in the last games in the Champions), it looks at its peak. A great result against Villarreal in Spain , a tactical performance by Breda against Maccabi Tel Aviv, an impressive foursome against Austria Vienna and for dessert an easy victory on the field where Haifa lost.

After the sixth round I made a comparison between Bnei Lam and Eliniv Barda, two coaches who arrived during the last season and succeeded in a big way.

So by chance or not, precisely at the end of Breda's most impressive week, Benny Lem ends his position.

Unlike Lem, Breda knew how to make the changes, respond to the changing reality and reinvent himself and his team.

This period certainly shows that Breda was not only a great player, he is also on the way to a very promising career as a coach.

The surprising one - Nir Berkovich

At the beginning of the season, Nes Ziona was considered a certain relegation.

A short and insufficiently high-quality staff combined with a coach whose entire experience in the Premier League was summed up in a brief and unsuccessful professional and behavioral episode at Bnei Yehuda.

So even though Ness Ziona is still last in the table, it is on a positive trend.

A point in Bloomfield and Turner, victories over Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Haifa (which led to the dismissal of Merafa and Klinger) and especially the way she plays (positive football, tries to attack with the tools she has and does not come to ruin the game) do her and her coach a lot of respect and give hope that she Maybe you will surprise everyone and manage to stay in the league.
