The Yvelines club, 2nd in the National, has decided to separate from its coach Youssef Chibhi at the head of the team since 2014 due in particular to

Youssef Chibhi is no longer the coach of FC Versailles.

This Monday morning, the Yvelines club warned the players of the dismissal of their coach.

Laid off as a precautionary measure since Saturday noon, Youssef Chibhi was therefore dismissed from the team he had been leading since 2014. It was one of his assistants Vincent Ehouman and all of the current staff who took the first workout of the week.

“FC Versailles coach Youssef Chibhi has been suspended as a precautionary measure.

From this Monday, Vincent Ehouman and all of the current staff will take charge of the team for the reception of Stade Briochin this Friday, November 11 at Jean Bouin.

The club will then communicate the changes in its organization, ”said FC Versailles in a press release.

Despite the success at Châteauroux (0-1) on Friday and the 2nd place in the general classification (synonymous with the rise in L2) of FC Versailles, the coach therefore gave up his post for reasons that are not sporting.

Youssef Chibhi is indeed the main suspect in a case of "invasion of the privacy of an adult", revealed in Le Parisien of August 14, which is piloted by the departmental security of 92. At the time of the revelation, the shareholders had put forward the presumption of innocence to explain his maintenance on the sidelines.

So they obviously changed their minds.

“Relations between the coach and certain people at the clubs, such as players and managers have deteriorated, reveals a member of the club.

The shareholders have therefore decided to separate from Youssef Chibhi.

“With an ambitious recruitment with in particular a Dutch international (Jeremain Lens) and several players passed by the L1 like Rachid Alioui (Angers) or Fabien Lemoine (Lorient, Saint-Étienne), the Yvelines club are aiming for accession to L2.

But it will be with a new coach.
