The mega event in the Allianz Arena has been sold out for a long time.

But there are still tickets for the first game of the season of the National Football League (NFL) on German soil on the Internet.

However, the prices are astronomical.

Munich - It's a world premiere: On November 13th, i.e. next Sunday, the first game of the season of the National Football League (NFL) will take place on German soil.

The stars from America are here in Munich: In the Allianz Arena, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with superstar Tom Brady will meet the Seattle Seahawks from 3:30 p.m.

And although the duel has been sold out for months, tickets are still being offered - for horrendous prices!

A single ticket costs around 2000 euros on the Internet, for three VIP tickets you can lay down over 8000 euros.

For comparison: Premium packages cost a little more than 600 euros in advance in mid-June.

And a regular card was already available for prices between 62.50 and 155 euros.

NFL game in the Allianz Arena: star quarterback Tom Brady is also traveling to Munich

Football is a cult in the United States - and it has now spilled over to Europe.

Star quarterback Tom Brady is also traveling to Munich.

Although he was recently in the negative headlines because of the series of defeats and the divorce from Bundchen, but: He has many fans and they remain loyal to him.

The numbers show how much he and his colleagues cast a spell over Germans.

According to NFL Germany boss Alexander Steinforth, three million tickets could have been sold for the Munich game – if so many would fit into the stadium.

Logically, what is in demand becomes expensive: Many fans are already willing to pay a lot of money to get a ticket after all.

This is probably why some of those who got hold of tickets in the summer are now trying to resell the tickets at high prices.

If you want to buy a ticket on sales platforms like Ebay or Viagogo, you should be careful.

Because there is probably no guarantee that the cards are valid.

The program Ran, which broadcasts the NFL games live on television, has been warning of this way of buying tickets on its website for some time.

Selling tickets at exorbitant prices is a thorn in the side of NFL managers

According to Ran, football fans should be aware that tickets are only fully entitled if they are sold through Ticketmaster.

Tickets are offered for resale on this online platform.

According to Ran, if you don't buy tickets there, you risk a lot.

In this case, the NFL could question the validity of the ticket.

Buying on platforms other than Ticketmaster is therefore strongly discouraged.

In addition, the cards are personalized and are only finally created after the data has been entered - an additional hurdle for resale.

The run on the Munich NFL cards in June was massive.

It only took 55 minutes back then – and all 50,000 tickets for the Allianz Arena were gone.

Of course, NFL folks realize that many of these are now being resold at prohibitively high prices.

That was "an absolute thorn in his side," said Germany boss Steinforth.

At least there's a consolation for all those who didn't get a ticket for the Allianz Arena: you can follow the game on Sunday afternoon at a public viewing.

Admission to the Audi Dome is at 1 p.m.

Tickets are still available for this event – from 29 euros.
