The DFB women caused euphoria among the fans at the European Championships in England this summer.

This now seems to be rubbing off on everyday league life in the Bundesliga: Already on the seventh day of the game, with a total of 119,286 spectators, the total number of the previous season was cracked.

In the 2021/2022 season, after 22 match days, only 108,483 fans were live on site.

The opening game between Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Bayern Munich already set a new record in the women's Bundesliga with 23,200 fans on site.

A total of 21,287 fans in the Volkswagen Arena watched the encounter between VfL Wolfsburg and FC Bayern Munich on Matchday 5.

The trend also seems to be continuing: Despite the 0:3 home defeat against FC Bayern, SC Freiburg celebrated a record 6,273 football fans in the Dreisam Stadium on the seventh day of the game.

2,700 fans watched the game between SV Werder Bremen and VfL Wolfsburg - more fans than ever before in Bremen's home stadium »Platz 11«.

All FC Bayern Munich home games on the club's campus have been sold out so far.
