The stewards of France Galop have withdrawn permission to ride from the winner of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe 2019, at the request of the ministry

New twist in the Boudot affair.

At the request of the Ministry of the Interior, the commissioners of France Galop withdrew, yesterday afternoon, the authorization to ride the 29-year-old jockey.

Since May 8, 2021, his name has no longer appeared on the racing programs.

Considered the best French rider in activity, Pierre-Charles Boudot was indicted for "acts of rape likely to have been committed on the night of February 17 to 18, 2021", according to the public prosecutor of Senlis ( Oise), Jean-Baptiste Bladier.

A week after star jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot was indicted for rape, new elements have emerged.

The results of a computer report, requested after the seizure of several mobile phones and a computer belonging to the jockey, have been added to the file.

The expertise was requested in August 2020 by the judge responsible for investigating the “Deauville affair”, for which Pierre-Charles Boudot was placed under the status of assisted witness after the complaint for rape, in October 2018, of a young woman, for facts dating back to 2015. In the conclusions of the report, which we were able to consult, the experts say that they have “transcribed chat messages of a sexual nature and images of a sexual or pornographic nature.

Pierre-Charles Boudot's computer equipment contains dozens of pornographic photos,

mostly naked women in suggestive positions.

More embarrassing, the report points to “images likely to present minors”.

In particular a little girl, naked, in a bathroom.

Also in the report, the photo of a young boy, also naked, holding his penis.

On August 12, the Commissioners of France Galop having no new information on the criminal status and the judicial control of the jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot nor on their compatibility with the exercise of his racing activity had renewed the suspension his authorization to ride as a jockey from August 17, 2022.

Given the jockey's wish to return to racing, the duration of this precautionary suspension had been set at three months, in order to allow a rapid review of the situation;

specifying that the measure could be lifted before its term in view of the elements that would come to their attention.

France Galop emphasized that the adoption of this precautionary measure did not call into question the presumption of innocence of the person concerned.
