As part of the club's 100th anniversary celebrations, Yoav Katz's team will play tomorrow with uniforms from the 1960s • The owner: "This is another step in the centenary celebrations"

As part of the "Century Project" to mark one hundred years since the founding of the football team and to mark the 60th anniversary of winning the first State Cup in the 1962/1963 season, Hapoel Haifa will launch tomorrow a unique retro outfit with which the team will appear for the derby game.

The players will appear with match uniforms that are a copy of the outfit with which the team appeared in the cup finals in the 1962/1963 season in which they beat Maccabi Haifa 0:1 with a goal by Simcha Oren and, as mentioned, won the first state cup in its history.

Owner Yoav Katz: "This is another step in the centenary celebrations for the establishment of the club. These days we are working on other things and there will be more surprises."

It should be noted that also last year the team launched a special retro set in the derby game to commemorate the state cup win in 1974.

In the coming days, the shirts will go on sale to the general public.
