There have been more scenes like this lately: Peitingen celebrate a goal (like here in the home game against Klostersee).

The coming weekend in the Oberliga is a short pleasure.

After the guest game at HC Landsberg on Friday, the league is taking a break because of the Germany Cup on Sunday.

Peiting

- Video analysis has been part of the preparation and follow-up of premier league games at EC Peiting for some time.

The players are presented with selected excerpts and short scenes from coach Anton Saal in order to draw the appropriate conclusions.

After the guest appearance at HC Landsberg three weeks ago, Saal only needed to slightly edit the video from the second third.

Short-term Peitinger blackout in the first duel against Landsberg

"The team had to watch the four minutes in a row," reported Saal.

What was meant was the phase between the 30th and 34th minute, in which his team was completely lost and scored three goals.

Before and after that, however, things went better, so that the bottom line was a 7: 4 success with the neighbors.

Pleasing yield for Peiting in the past games

Almost three weeks after the first guest performance at the Lech, the ECP will be performing for the second time at the Landsbergers this Friday, November 11th at 8 p.m.

Saal is surprised at the quick reunion.

"Who makes such a schedule?" grumbled the Peitingen coach.

There is no reason for dissatisfaction with him when looking at the table.

Due to the pleasing good yield of the recent period with three wins in five games within ten days, the ECP improved to fifth place in the Oberliga Süd.

“Not a bad interim result.

We want to get stuck there now," says Saal.

Peiting's coach hopes to be able to defend this position for as long as possible.

With the strong teams from Bad Tölz, Deggendorf and Memmingen in the neck "but that will be a challenge", admits Saal.

Peiting's coach Saal sees Landsberg on the upswing

It is therefore all the more important for Peitinger to score points against teams from the bottom of the table.

This also includes the HCL as eleventh.

"But we won't underestimate the Landsbergers for that reason," says Saal, emphasizing that he has learned the relevant lessons from the first comparison.

The recently rising shape of the Landsbergers with victories against Lindau and Füssen and a narrow defeat against Rosenheim reminds the Peitinger coach to be careful.

“At Landsberg, a few sick, injured and suspended players are back.

And their US newcomer Walker Sommer doesn't seem to be bad either," Saal says, naming the reasons for the upward trend at the HCL, where there will be a reunion with ex-Peitingers Florian Stauder, Andreas Magg and Dennis Neal.

In Landsberg, some top performers will be missing at Peiting

In Landsberg, however, Saal cannot compete with the best players.

Marco Habermann has suffered an inner ligament injury and will have to rest for four to six weeks.

Defender Tim Rohrbach is out for about a month with a hip injury and goalkeeper Florian Hechenrieder is out due to illness.

As in the first Landsberg game, Konrad Fiedler will represent him.

The use of David Miller, who suffered a slight concussion last weekend, is also questionable.

"We will therefore bring back some young players who have done their job very well recently," says Saal, who expects full commitment from his team.

After all, they can rest then, since the Oberliga will be paused on Sunday for the Germany Cup.
