Injury history at Sadio Mané: is the worst failure imminent?

Sadio Mané is injured just before the World Cup.
Participation is uncertain.
It's not the first injury - but the most bitter.
Munich – FC Bayern defeated Werder Bremen 6-1 on Tuesday evening (November 8), but it wasn't the best working day for Sadio Mané.
The Senegalese had to leave the field injured after just 21 minutes.
The reason: an injury to the right fibula head.
Mané could miss the World Cup.
This was reported by the French trade journal
L'Equipe
on Wednesday.
There was initially no confirmation from FC Bayern.
Mané will be out for the game against FC Schalke on Saturday (November 12), according to a statement from the record champions.
Further investigations will follow in the next few days.
"FC Bayern is in contact with the medical side of the Senegalese Football Association," the Bavarians explain.
The team from Senegal had hoped for Mané as a top performer at the World Cup.
A failure of the superstar would be a severe setback.
Sadio Mané's participation in the World Cup remains unclear
FC Bayern has not yet explained how long Sadio Mané will actually be absent.
The use of the two-time African footballer of the year at the tournament in Qatar is still unclear.
"You will see what comes out of it in the end," said Manuel Neuer on Wednesday.
It's not Sadio Mané's first injury.
However, it is the first imminent failure before such a prestigious tournament as a World Cup.

Still in the service of Liverpool FC, the left winger injured his knee in April 2017 and missed the remaining games of the season – in the Champions League race of all places.
A hamstring injury followed that same year.
As a result, Mané missed five games.
