Linas-Montlhéry and Marcoussis for a new feat, Auber in Reunion… Your football weekend in Île-de-France

In the Paris region, it's not just PSG in Ligue 1. There are also good matches in the lower divisions. Here is the pro

Le Parisien invites you to take a tour of the football program in Île-de-France.

The bulk of the weekend menu is devoted to the 8th round of the Coupe de France with the last six Ile-de-France representatives.

The N2 and N3 are taking a break except for a few late matches.

After the international break, the women's D1 resumes.

The three Ile-de-France teams are on the move.

The poster for the weekend: Linas-Montlhéry as a specialist?

It has become one of the specialists of the Coupe de France.

Linas-Montlhéry (N3) will try against Paris 13 Atletico (N1) to reach the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France for the 3rd time in 4 years.

In 2020, the Essonne team was eliminated by PSG (6-0).

Last year, she had achieved a feat (2-0) against Angers (L1) before falling in the round of 16 on penalties against Amiens (L2).

“Our two 32nd finals against the stars of PSG and the pros of Angers were magical.

We all want to relive those moments, ”says goalkeeper Ali Lutumba (23), a stoppage specialist during penalty shootouts (five) in previous rounds.

Paris 13 Atletico reached the 8th round for the first time in its history.

If the team is still relegated, it has not lost or conceded a goal since the arrival on the bench of Vincent Bordot (1 victory, 2 draws in the league, a qualification for the Coupe de France).

The question: which Paris FC to expect in Cosne?

On paper, this move from Paris FC (L2) to the Raphaël-Giraux stadium in Cosne, 13th and penultimate in N3 Bourgogne – Franche-Comté, turns out to be unbalanced.

But with this Paris FC team, we saw that this season everything was possible.

The worst as well as the best… After a failed first part of the season (12th) and weighed down by the incredible deficit at home (5 points out of 21), an elimination would darken an already not very good picture.

A report will be made at the truce by the management.

Paris FC will be deprived of several players for this match: Samir Chergui, suspended for 4 games (plus one suspended) after his expulsion against Metz (1-4), Jaouen Hadjam (France U20 team), Yoan Kore (France France U19).

And inevitably, Julien Le Cardinal, transferred Tuesday to Lens (L1) for around 3 million euros (2.5 million immediately plus bonuses).

His former club, SC Bastia, which had negotiated a percentage on its resale, will receive just over 500,000 euros.

The great challenge: Marcoussis for a new feat

He is the national little Thumb of this 8th round of the Coupe de France.

After eliminating Marolles (3-0), Malakoff (D2, 4-1), Montfermeil (R3, 5-4), FC Issy (R3, 4-2), Suresnes (R2, 3-3, 4-3 tab) and the Pays du Valois (R1 3-2), FC Marcoussis-Nozay-Ville du Bois (MNVDB) which plays in the 1st division (9th national level) of the Essonne district is attacking Vierzon, 16th in the group D of National 2. That is five divisions apart… A huge challenge for this club which since 2011 has brought together three towns in Essonne and which has 650 members.

If the club had planned to play at the National Rugby Center located in Marcoussis, the match will take place at the Pierre Camou stadium, the only one in the club which has a 300-seat stand.

“It will be the first time that we play in this stadium, explains Arthur Didier.

We applied to play at the Center National de Rugby, but it was refused due to the presence of the XV of France.

We were a little disappointed but it will still be a big party on Sunday.

Player to watch: Boubacare Camara (Aubervilliers)

In the previous round, Boubacare Camara (22) stopped two shots on goal against QRM (Quevilly Rouen Métropole, L2).

Two stops which propelled Aubervilliers (N3) to the 8th round and to Reunion.

Second goalkeeper behind the experienced Yann Kerboriou, Camara is aligned in the Coupe de France.

"Last year, he was good when he replaced Kerboriou during his suspension (8 games)", explains coach Rachid Youcef.

Boubacare is the brother of Ousmane, the U19 international transferred from Paris FC (L2) to Angers (L1) this summer.

This is his second season at Aubervilliers after also being trained at Paris FC.

“The team really enjoys this experience in Reunion,” he says.

We were very well received, the context is nice.

We make the most of it, while staying focused on the competition.

The only matches I have been able to play with the first team so far are in the Coupe de France.

We try to stay focused as much as possible for the goal, just to manage what I have to do in the match.

So far, that has worked for us.

You have to keep working to make the pleasure last.

The number of points that separates Fleury from Créteil, leader of group B of National 2. A gap that Habib Boumezoued's team could erase in the event of success in Metz in a late match and thus regain their chair as leader.
