England-All Blacks, revenge in the air
Beaten at home by Argentina (30-29) two weeks ago for the first time since 2006, the XV de la Rose reassured itself in front of Japan, crushed 52-13, with seven tries in the key.
A rebound which however requires confirmation against an opponent of a different caliber and, that's good, the All Blacks come to Twickenham this Saturday (6:30 p.m.).
The latter have just had three successes against Japan (38-31), Wales (55-23) and Scotland (31-23), but still give the impression of being able to do better.
This shock will have an air of revenge since the two teams will face each other for the first time since their unforgettable semi-final of the 2019 World Cup, won by Eddie Jones' men (19-7).
It will also mark Owen Farrell's 100th cap for England.
The opening half or three-quarter center will become, at 31, only the third player in his country to reach this bar after scrum half Ben Youngs (119 caps) and former prop Jason Leonard (114).
Ireland to finish in style against the Wallabies
At the top of the world rankings, Ireland will try on Saturday (9 p.m.) in Dublin to conclude in style against Australia a remarkable year 2022, punctuated by only two defeats so far, in France and New Zealand.
After starting their autumn tests with a victory over world champions South Africa (19-16), the Irish laboriously dominated Fiji (35-17) with a revamped team.
Their coach Andy Farrell should be able to count on the return of Johnny Sexton, named earlier this week, at 37, for the title of world player of the year with his compatriot Josh van der Flier.
Beaten for the first time in their history by Italy (28-27) last week, the Wallabies could have dreamed of better recovery than a trip to Dublin, where the XV of Clover has won its last 11 matches.
Italy on its way against South Africa?
Buoyed by the euphoria of their historic victory over Australia, can the Italians dream of a new feat on Saturday (2 p.m.) against South Africa?

Ange Capuozzo and his teammates should expect to suffer whatever happens against the robust Springboks, who have already fallen twice this fall, in Ireland (19-16) and France (30-26).
“
The Italians will arrive full of confidence.
We are fully aware of the challenge ahead of us
,” warned South African coach Jacques Nienaber.
Scotland-Argentina, to raise their heads
Passed very close last weekend to the first victory in its history against the All Blacks before giving up their arms at the end of the match (31-23), Scotland will again have a lot to do on Saturday (4:15 p.m.) against the Argentina, defeat at the same time to Wales (20-13).
