And the federation stated in a statement on its official website that Sani suffers from problems with his knee, which will force the coach of the national team, Hansi Flick, to dispense with his services in the first confrontation.
Germany's national team will be absent in this tournament, midfielder Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund, who was injured before the World Cup and was unable to be present in the third tournament in a row.
