The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Football Association announced the relegation of the Al-Jazira team from the Premier League to the ranks of the First Division.
In a circular published by the Football Association on the official website of the Football Association, the committee indicated that due to Al-Jazira team not attending the match scheduled for the seventh of this month in front of the Al-Ittihad team, Al-Ahly Aleppo, despite the presence of the competing team, referees and observers, and after studying all the details related to the legality of non-attendance by reviewing all correspondence. Between Al-Jazira Club and the Football Association, the Al-Jazira team was excluded from the Premier League competition, with all its results being crossed out as affecting the final standings, goal difference, a fine of ten million Syrian pounds, and relegation to the lower division, and the remaining revenues of participation in the league championship were withheld.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Jazira team is in last place without points in the Premier League standings.
