Enes Kanter, the NBA player who was designated as a wanted man following his protest against the regime did not remain liable: "I do not believe that Erdogan is threatening the life of an American citizen on US territory" • In an interview with "Israel Hayom" he said: "As soon as he gets what he wants , he will betray you"

Enes Kanter, the Turkish basketball player who played in the NBA in recent years, is not a criminal or a terrorist.

Despite this, following the public protest he expressed against the rule of Recep Erdogan, Turkey last week put him on the country's list of wanted terrorists, and even offered 500,000 euros to anyone who would provide information that would help catch him.

The Turkish NBA player, the third pick in the 2011 draft, decided to enter into a frontal battle with Turkish President Erdogan and China, one of the world's great powers, all for the sake of fighting for human rights.

Today he responded to the message published by the Turkish government in a post on social networks: "Come and catch me, be my guest", the Turk added: "I do not believe that Erdogan is threatening the life of an American citizen on US soil".

In an interview with "Israel Today" at the end of July, Kanter said about the Turkish leader: "There are elections in Turkey in 2023, so he is trying to get closer to America and Israel, but I sat with so many leaders in the world who said, 'You can't trust a dictator,' as soon as he will get what he wants, he will betray you."
