FC Barcelona were crowned Spanish champions for the 27th time in their history on Sunday thanks to their 4-2 victory at Espanyol Barcelona in the 34th matchday of La Liga.

Four days before the end of the championship, the Catalans can no longer be caught by Real Madrid, second with 14 points. On Sunday night, Barça outclassed their opponents thanks to a double from Robert Lewandowski (11th, 40th) and two goals from Alejandro Balde (20th) and Jules Koundé (53rd), both of whom opened their scoring in the Blaugrana colours, allowing Barça to win their first La Liga title since 2019, despite Espanyol's two late goals from Javi Puado (73rd) and Joselu (90th+2).
