Another embarrassing incident took place on the soccer field this evening (Monday), this time in a game between Maccabi Netanya and Maccabi Haifa. Dozens of Greens fans, sitting in the stands that housed Netanya fans, jumped after Charon Sherry's advantageous goal.
But then a riot broke out in the gallery and a fight between the two camps. As a result, dozens of Haifa fans broke into the field and ran towards the eastern stand, where the guests were sitting. If that wasn't enough, some Netanya fans also came in to continue the brawl. As a result, referee Aviad Shiloah was forced to stop the game until the security guards moved all the green fans from the West Stand to the one that accommodated the visiting crowd.
