The soccer league administration has decided that in light of the many shameful incidents of racism on the soccer fields in recent games, the players of the teams that will play tonight, as part of the decisive games of the top playoffs, will take to the field with a banner against racism.
"The league administration will continue a series of significant steps to eradicate violence and racism together with government ministries, law enforcement and groups."
League Administration Chairman Erez Kalfon: "The recent increase in racism incidents is very serious in my opinion. I and many others who love Israeli football feel ashamed that racism is expressed on our fields and we must condemn it from football matches.
"Israeli football has always been the place where everyone needs and can find their place, regardless of religion or race.
