FC Bayern will face the Saxons in the Bundesliga on Saturday (20 May). The Leipzigers fear a "typical Bayern trick" before the game, as reported by Bild. Leipzig's Konrad Laimer is about to make a move to the record champions, but the transfer has not yet been made official.

RB therefore fears that Bayern will announce the Laimer transfer shortly before the game, which could unnecessarily cause unrest for the opponent. Laimer is said to have already completed medical checks at Bayern and, according to media reports, will move to Säbener Straße on a free transfer in the summer.
The Austrian midfielder already opted for FC Bayern in the winter. Half a year before his contract expired, Laimer was allowed to officially negotiate with other clubs. Nevertheless, the transfer has not yet been publicly announced, possibly because the 25-year-old feared negative fan reactions from Leipzig.
