Thomas Müller absent from Bayern training – another attacker is also missing from fans
But tight double-digit temperatures and continuous rain ensured that the supporters did not turn up in droves at the record champions' training ground. For almost an hour and a half, fans were able to watch Thomas Tuchel's unit with excitement. Saturday's heroes were there: double goalscorer Serge Gnabry, Bundesliga penalty debutant Joshua Kimmich and super youngster Mathys Tel – they were all there.
But not all Bayern stars trained with the team: Thomas Müller wore running shoes instead of football shoes. The 33-year-old, who was still the "can opener" against Schalke, could still have suffered sore muscles. However, in his arms – he diligently signed autographs. Due to load control, Müller did not take part in team training.

Choupo-Moting is also missing – will the Bayern striker no longer be used?
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was also absent. The attacker has been struggling with knee and back problems for weeks. Most recently, he was in the starting line-up in the Bundesliga at the beginning of April in the top game against BVB (4-2). Since his brief comeback attempt in the second leg against Manchester City, the German Cameroonian has been taking a break. It is questionable whether he will even play again this season.
On the positive side, Josip Stanisic returned to training for the first time since tearing his muscle. The defender had been out since the beginning of May. However, it remains to be seen whether he will be an option against RB Leipzig on Saturday.

With Müller, on the other hand, you won't have to worry. Last Saturday, he played over 90 minutes. Afterwards, the 33-year-old was exhausted. "When I got my chance in the ninetieth, I thought I was being held massively. Then I looked back – but there was no opponent at all," said Müller with a wink after the game in the mixed zone: "A nineties, that was something. The air was already scarce at the back."
