In FC Bayern's 1-3 defeat to RB Leipzig, it wasn't just the performance that caused a stir. For one player, there was an announcement from the fans.
Munich – At the weekend, FC Bayern squandered the chance to still have the championship in their own hands on the last matchday. The 1-3 defeat against Leipzig caused horror among the record champions and their fans. They also had a very special message for one of their players.

Background: Players refuse to participate in Diversity Game Day
The background to the excitement of the Bayern fans was a matchday in Ligue 1. The league called for a matchday against homophobia on matchday 35 and the players' jerseys were adorned with numbers in rainbow colours, among other things. This did not go down well with all the professionals in the French upper house.
Several Toulouse players told their club that they did not want to play on that matchday. Among them was defender Zakaria Aboukhlal, who justified his non-participation on social media and received encouragement from an FC Bayern player.

Mazraoui expresses solidarity with Aboukhlal
FC Bayern defender Noussair Mazraoui stood by Aboukhlal. Under his Instagram post, the Moroccan commented, "God bless you brother." In addition to him, Chelsea professional Hakim Ziyech also commented on the picture.
Mazraoui's comment caused little enthusiasm in the record champions' environment. That's why the professional, who came to Munich from Ajax Amsterdam in the summer, had to live with the direct feedback. And that's what the Munich fan scene gave him in the game against RB Leipzig.
"Respect our values" – clear statement in the direction of Mazraoui
"All the colors are beautiful. In Toulouse, in Munich and everywhere. Respect our values, Mazraoui!" read a banner on Munich's Südkurve during the game. In doing so, the fans made a clear announcement to their player and showed him what values FC Bayern represents.
