Augsburg – In six days' time, the grand final in the Bundesliga will take place. After winning the last title in 2012, Borussia Dortmund and coach Edin Terzic have a good chance of being crowned new German champions in the game against Mainz next Saturday (27 May). Borussia's 3-0 win over Augsburg and Munich's bitter defeat at home to Leipzig give the Black and Yellows a two-point lead over the record champions. After the performance in Augsburg, coach Terzic found emotionally charged words for the tangible title next weekend in front of a home crowd.

BVB were relieved after the triumph against Augsburg, especially coach Edin Terzic. The 40-year-old gave free rein to his emotions after conquering the top of the table. Terzic with statement to BVB player: million-dollar salary void for moment in the stadium
"I'm sure the guys can buy anything they want. The next car. The next expensive vacation. The next house," Terzic said of the million-dollar salaries of his players. But he's pretty sure of one thing: "What they can't buy is this moment to come to the stadium next week."
If Borussia wins against FSV Mainz 05, they are assured of the championship – regardless of Bayern's game against Cologne. With the support of the fans and "huge will", Dortmund will be looking to fulfil their dream of winning the 2022/23 league title against Mainz.
