The manifestations of racism in the Spanish league, which have recently been directed even more strongly against Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, have become the main issue in sports in Spain, but also abroad. La Liga is looking for solutions, and open to advice from anyone with an idea.
Pep Guardiola, the former Barcelona manager and now manager of Manchester City, may not know the answer to racism, but he certainly has an opinion on the subject. "La Liga must act," he said at first, hinting at a deterioration in the issue if he did not act quickly.
"Racism is not a problem of one specific place, but a problem all over the world," Guardiola continued, "Here in England they are very clear about how to deal with racism, but when you travel the world, you find that this problem exists in every language, even though we are all equal."
