Dani Avdija is currently on his summer vacation during the NBA offseason, and this week he was interviewed on a podcast by Greek basketball player Thanassis Antetokounmpo, Yannis' brother.
Avdija recalled: "I remember playing against you, you were at Panathinaikos and you had a crazy dunk against us. I was on the bench." Greek basketball tried to analyze, together with a Washington Wizards player, the division between the Euroleague and the NBA.
The Israeli explained: "In the NBA all the players are talented, some more and some less. What makes you better than average and be part of the league is the attitude, the mentality, the other things.

"Consistency, that's the hardest thing. We play a lot of games, wake up every day and give a good game - it's the quality that makes the difference."
Avdija also recalled his time at Maccabi Tel Aviv under Giannis Sfairopoulos: "It was difficult, he gave me the first minutes in the Euroleague and I got a lot of screams from him. It was worth it, I miss it a little bit."
