Several winter sports enthusiasts are cheering on FC Bayern in Germany's popular sport of football. Biathlon star David Zobel, who even has his own Ultras fan club, is one of Bayern's biggest fans. And luge icon Felix Loch also regularly keeps his fingers crossed for his heart club, as photos and videos on his Instagram profile demonstrate.

Last Sunday, it was that time again and Loch made his way to Fröttmanning to the Allianz Arena. In tow this time: the two sons Lorenz and Ludwig.

"1st time with the boys at the Allianz Arena! It was bearish!", Loch wrote to a video on the picture platform. Did the kids make the direct acquaintance of FCB mascot Bernie, who is supposed to portray a bear? In any case, "Bärig" means something like "great, extraordinary, super or outstanding" in Bavarian.

The small family outing seems to have been a great success. In a jam-packed Allianz Arena, the youngsters cheered on the stars on the pitch with shining eyes.

Felix Loch with children at the Allianz Arena – son Ludwig celebrates Kane

While his father wore a Bayern jersey with the number ten and the name Loch, Lorenz was wrapped in a green goalkeeper outfit – possibly that of Manuel Neuer. His younger brother Ludwig, dressed in a dark FCB jersey, shouted at the top of his voice: "Kane!" The new star striker scored twice in the 3-1 win over Augsburg, equalling the next Bayern record.

Loch, who recently met Maria Höfl-Riesch on Lake Garda, still has a little time until the new winter sports season starts. On December 8, the Luge World Cup starts in Lake Placid. Until then, Loch and his two sons should have more opportunities to experience FC Bayern in the stadium. (ck)
