Apart from the games at home to Israel, there were several other matches in the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign on Saturday evening with two notable results stealing the show. The first of the French team to record the biggest ever qualifying victory with a historic 0-14 victory over Gibraltar and the Netherlands' small victory over Ireland, which secured the Orange a place in the European Championship.
France did not feel sorry for Gibraltar's small and modest team. The biggest star of the game was the biggest star of the tricolour – Kylian Mbappé who scored three goals and reached 300 career goals. Warren Zaire-Emery, PSG's child prodigy made his debut for the French national team, becoming the youngest player to score for the 2018 world champions. Apart from them, eight other players scored - Kingsley Coman and Olivier Giroud with pairs, Marcus Thuram, Jonathan Kloss and Yusuf Fofana with the first two goals of the game being own goals by the visitors.
🇫🇷 France beat Gibraltar 14-0 and it's the biggest win in their national team history.

The Netherlands needed three points to secure a place in the Euros and the one who did the job for them was Hoffenheim striker Wout Weghorst, who got the credit in the line-up from Ronald Koeman and provided a great performance that made the difference.
