Highlights: "There is xenophobia in Serbia, Barak Behar's status is stable and we will give him all the support," says Zvezdan Terzic. Red Star Belgrade has won six consecutive championships in Serbia. In the league, he is six points clear of hated rivals Partizan after suffering two defeats so far, while in the Champions League he has lost a chance of reaching the final eight. Despite the disappointment with the results in the Champions League and the gap from Partizan Belgrade in the domestic league, Red Star professional manager Zvezdan Terzic backed the Israeli coach in an interview, who has received quite a few criticisms in recent weeks

Red Star Belgrade has won six consecutive championships in Serbia, which does not take the pressure gauge off the professionals who come to work in its ranks, but only makes the challenge greater. This summer, after three championships at Maccabi Haifa, Barak Bachar took upon himself the difficult task of taking a step forward in the prestigious club, but as of now, when we are in mid-November, he encounters difficulties. In the league, he is six points clear of hated rivals Partizan after suffering two defeats so far, while in the Champions League he has lost a chance of reaching the final eight and will fight for a place in the Europa League.

In response to the harsh criticism Behar receives from the local media, the star's professional manager Zvezdan Terzic was interviewed and provided complete backing for the Israeli coach. "Barak Behar's status is stable, his place is secure and we will give him all the support," Terzic said, "The results he will provide in the future will lead to an end to the criticism against him. We have to be prepared to accept criticism, but I read what is published in the media and unfortunately it seems that we are a country that hates foreigners."

Terzic added: "For decades and centuries Serbia has been recognized as a country that accepts foreigners with great love, so it surprises me to see Serbian coaches who have done nothing for 20 years criticize. Barak Bachar is sure to stay and it is understandable that there are also criticisms, but they will open in the future. Our fans will always have unrealistic expectations, as far as they are concerned, we have to beat Manchester City at home as well. We didn't come to the Champions League just to participate, we came to play and we managed to lead in Manchester. Red Star is a club that is only getting stronger, and we will be stronger in the coming years."
