Back to competing. After a long period of training, Luna Chamtai Salpeter, Israel's top athlete, finished second today (Sunday) in the 15 km 15 km road race held in the Netherlands. Salpeter set a time of 47:55.
Luna Chamtai Salpeter said: "I am happy to bring a modest achievement in these difficult times. We received dignified hospitality and solidarity from the Dutch organizers of the competition. Sport is about bringing people together and I'm happy for every opportunity."
Luna's great season this year included fourth place at the World Championships in Budapest in August, the silver medal in the Rome Half Marathon and the bronze medal in the Boston Marathon.

Hadar Ofir Forer also participated in the competition, setting a time of 52:46 minutes and finishing the run in 12th place.
