Last year, when the possibilities began to emerge, LeBron James showed interest in establishing an NBA team in Las Vegas, the city that in recent years has been trying to fit into every major ball league in the United States, and so far has only managed to do so in the hockey league, the NHL, where it won the Stanley Cup championship last season.

Now it turns out that former Los Angeles Lakers star Shaquille O'Neal is also interested in a basketball team in the gambling city, but the 51-year-old former center clarified when asked about the issue: "With LeBron, without LeBron, I want to do it," and later clarified that he has no desire to enter into a business partnership with King James: "I want to start an NBA team and do it myself. I want to be the one who makes the fateful decisions."
In an attempt not to target personal injury to LeBron, Shaquille added, "I don't want to partner with anybody," adding that basketball isn't the only sport he'd love to buy or start a team. "Not baseball, football probably, safe basketball," he rated his level of interest.
Shaq then explained how he sees the world of management and control in the group and what his place is in it: "There are two types of owners. One of them is the one who mostly brags and does less. With this type of owner, I'm willing to work, to enter into a partnership, in order to be the one who makes the decisions to advance processes."
