After a long hiatus and in the shadow of the Iron Sword War, the Men's Volleyball Premier League returned to activity today (Tuesday), in one of the first professional leagues to return to activity in Israel. The management of the union made great efforts to bring the groups back into activity, of course according to the instructions of the Home Front Command, when it was possible to bring in up to 1000,<> spectators. At the beginning of the game, a minute of silence was held and pictures of the abductees were placed on the chairs.
Maccabi Tel Aviv, which met Hapoel Kfar Saba, wore "Am Yisrael Chai" shirts and hosted the family of the abductees Ohad and Eitan Yahalomi, while at the game in Naaman where Hapoel Galil Mata Asher/Acre met Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Ata, it was said: "It seems that the light went out in every home in Israel and in its place soul candles were lit and flags were raised in memory of the fallen and abducted, on this evening we remember and honor those we lost and hope for the return of the abductees."

This year the league consists of nine teams that will play each other in two rounds (one team is available each week). After two rounds, the playoffs will take place, with the quarterfinals being best-of-three games, the semi-finals best-of-five games and the best-of-five finals.
