Hertha Berlin CEO Tom Hrich announced that his team will host at least ten children from Kibbutz Bari for their home game against Hamburg in the German Cup. The team will take care of all accommodation costs in Germany, including entrance to the VIP area at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
Earlier this week, the CEO said during a large demonstration in support of the city: "Especially in these times when Jews are becoming targets of hatred and unrest, it is more important than ever to get involved and raise your voice. Solidarity with Israel means standing up for the security and welfare of the state, but also for all Jews in Israel and around the world."
Another trip for the children of the envelope - this time to Berlin On the previous trip there was some disappointment among kibbutzim and localities that were unable to enter the delegation we sent to Dortmund, so here is the correction: After the first trip to Dortmund, I am happy to tell you that another initiative has been established in Germany,
and this time the goal is to fly children from Bari to Berlin

The person who initiated the special trip is Adam Lahav, chairman of the Dortmund Supporters Association in Israel, who a few weeks ago organized a similar trip to his team's game against Bayern Munich. Lahav told Israel Hayom about that trip: "Two months ago we received an allowance of 15 tickets from the club for the game against Bayern. But once the war broke out, it was clear that many of the people who were preparing to attend the game would remain in Israel. Some were recruited and others felt it was not the right time. Then the idea came up to give the tickets to survivors of the massacre in the south."
