The war in Gaza has provided many human stories over the past month and a half, most notably involving the Gaza Village Foxes group. This is the football team that represents the kibbutz, which was one of the main massacres on the Black Saturday of October 7. Dozens of kibbutz members were murdered in the horrific massacre or abducted to Gaza, and as a result, members of the group were among the victims or lost their relatives. Tal Ayalon, Yuval Salomon and Neta Epstein, z"l, were murdered on that cursed Saturday, while brothers Gali and Ziv Berman, who are also Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, were kidnapped to Gaza.
The painful story of the "Foxes" received great resonance and the one who picked up the gauntlet was the Maccabi Foundation (RA), which initiated an exciting appreciation game for the team. As part of the event, the foxes of Kfar Gaza will meet a mixed group composed of past stars of Maccabi and Hapoel Tel Aviv, who also joined the cause. The game will take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 19:00 at the stadium in Bat Yam.
