Israeli cycling team Premier Tech will take new safety measures to ensure the safety of riders and crew members, reports Yahoo Sports. According to the report, the cyclists and staff expressed their discomfort with Israel's symbols on their cars and clothing when they encountered a number of pro-Palestinian demonstrations, for which it was decided to give them a kit of neutral clothing in training, without the inscription Israel.
In response, Israel-Premier Tech said: "The 2024 season will be our tenth season in the professional peloton and we will continue to ride proudly as Israel-Premier Tech. The safety and security of our team members is of paramount importance and as such, the team has implemented some measures for the 2024 season. This includes using a training kit, which our riders can choose to wear when they are out of the racing bubble and train alone if they deem it necessary."

The group's owner, Sylvan Adams, an Israeli-Canadian businessman, recently spoke out against succumbing to intimidation of terrorist threats. Adams said in an interview with Radio Cycling that the team would not be deterred by the ongoing conflict, and expressed a determination to continue their normal activities and not give in to fear. "We're not going to give in to this. We continue our daily work. We're looking forward to a regular season and we're not going to hide."
