Sagiv Yehezkel's goal Antaliaspor player vs Trabzonspor and the tribute to the abductees/Sport1
The Sagiv Yechezkel affair is branching out and seems to be only at the beginning. After he was arrested by Antaliaspor police, Turkey reports that Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunk announced that an investigation had begun against the Israeli footballer on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility."
In a statement, Tonk said that "the local prosecutor will investigate Israeli footballer Sagiv Yehezkel for his ugly behavior that supports Israel's 'genocide' in Gaza after the goal he scored against Trabzonspor." He added that he "condemns the attacks by Israel, which has been committing crimes against humanity through genocide in Gaza for more than 100 days and we will always stand with the Palestinians in their struggle."

As you may recall, the team announced last night that Ezekiel had been removed from the squad after merely making a nice gesture to the kidnappers after his goal. In a statement, the group said that "Yehezkel acted against the values of the state by exposing the inscription for the abductees."
The group's president, Sinan Boztepe, also spoke on the issue, saying: "For us, his sensitivity to the country is above everything else. I will never allow insensitive behavior towards my country." Yehezkel will appear before a judge later, as Israel works for his immediate release from the country, which also includes Ramzi Spuri, teammate Eden Kartsev, Fenerbahce basketball player Yam Madar and Nimrod Levy.
