In any case, the aforementioned luck was not on Pinturault's side on Friday. Of course, there is hope that it didn't hit him quite so badly. However, the impressions gained in view of the heavy fall speak against it. Pinturault's best results this season were two 5th places in the giant slaloms in Val d'Isere and Alta Badia. (aoe)
