Danny Avdia was very close to his first NBA triple-double in a game against Atlanta last week.
The Israeli scored 19 points, pulled down 14 rebounds and dished out 9 assists.
2:15 minutes to the end of the game, the team's coach Wes Anseld Jr. decided to honor the player, brought him down to the bench, but prevented him from the milestone - which made Danny grimace.

Before tonight's game (2:30) against the New York Knicks, Sports Illustrated discussed Avdia's future: "Washington should probably move everyone except Avdia and Bilal Koulibaly, but if they continue to prevent them from triple-doubles they will already trade them too and that's it."
It is also claimed that after the Wizards' loss to the Detroit Pistons, a team that broke the record for consecutive losses in the NBA this season, Washington is expected to drop further in the league's strength index, even to last place.
Another loss tonight in New York will certainly not help her.
