After a frustrating period in Hapoel Beer Sheva, Tomer Hamed has come full circle.

The veteran striker signed last night until the end of the season with his youth team Maccabi Haifa and he will probably finish a glorious career there, before he becomes available for a professional position at the club.

Today (Friday) Hamed uploaded a sharp Instagram post in which he referred to the period that passed him.

"Everything has a reason, everything is from above. This phrase is said a lot, but the question is how strong is the belief in it," Hamed wrote, "at the age of 7 when I was still an ardent fan and I was not accepted to Maccabi Haifa, I walked off the field crying and could not understand that I would return at the age of 13 and from there I will continue all the way until the fulfillment of my dream of playing in the senior team and leading it to the championship. From there I continued to fulfill several more dreams when I was privileged to play and conquer in the best leagues in the world."

"Throughout the years abroad I always believed that when I returned to Israel it would only be to Maccabi Haifa and when it didn't happen it was hard to believe that it would still happen." .

I accompanied my father in his last days as he fought the cursed disease until the moment he had to say goodbye.

In addition to the difficult mourning year, I had to go through very difficult and even humiliating moments on the professional side and I fought myself every day not to give up, not to change and to remain who I am.

To hold fast to the faith in the Creator of the world and hold on to the sentence with which we started that everything has a reason."

"Today I understand what the reason was.

What I went through was an experience.

It was not an easy or unpleasant experience, but thanks to the fact that I managed it with full faith in God and keeping my path and my values, I was privileged to reach the place where I belong.

My childhood club.

Those who have been by my side along the way know what this day means to me, and how exciting and special it is.

I thank today as every day to the Creator of the world that he knows what is best for me and leads me on his way, to the right place for me.

Father, I'm sure you're with me in this special moment that you've been waiting for so much."
