The name Luc Alphand surely rings a bell.
The French skier was, until now, the only tricolor to have won twice in Kitzbühel in 1995. He is now no longer alone, since one of his compatriots has just matched the performance.
On Saturday, Cyprien Sarrazin won the Kitzbühel downhill, for the second time in two days.
An extraordinary performance, which he savored in front of the more than 60,000 spectators who attended his race.
He still stuck more than 9 tenths (0''91) behind Marco Odermatt, a reference in the discipline.
A real feat that you may not have witnessed live.
Don't panic, you can watch the race on video at the link below, on the Eurosport YouTube channel.
