Cyprien Sarrazin does not come down from his cloud.
Having entered the history of French skiing following his victory on the first scheduled descent on the legendary Kitzbühel descent (Austria) on Friday, the Frenchman achieved a monumental feat by doubling the stakes on the Streif this Saturday.
Starting in the wake of Marco Odermatt, leader of the World Cup, the native of Gap offered himself his fourth success of the season by exploding the already enormous time achieved by his Swiss rival: 91 hundredths of a gap.
Precise and fast, Sarrazin achieved a perfect descent.
Third time on the first sector, the new boss of French skiing achieved the best in five of the six others, completing his passage in 1′52″96.

A performance which allows him to equal Luc Alphand, the only Habs to have won twice in the same year in Kitzbühel (1995) before today.
Already a winner on the downhill of Bormio (Italy) and the Super-G of Wengen (Switzerland), the skier confirms his rise in power, having not raised his arms in the World Cup since December 2016 before this season.
“I don’t have the words,” Sarrazin admitted to Eurosport.
Beyond the victory, I took this run from the bottom of my heart.
I had fun from top to bottom and when I saw green after crossing the line, I exploded with joy.
Like in Bormio, I felt like I had done something crazy.
Odermatt made a few small mistakes before the flat, that's where I made the difference.
