It was different in landscape, and in the positive sense of the word.
Not exactly the character of the player and coach we are used to seeing.
Lior was a brilliant basketball mind.
Unfortunately we will never know, but the level of knowledge was equal to the highest levels in training.
At least they will compare to what he did as an actor.
The career on the field ended at a relatively young age due to an injury, and it was clear to everyone in Israeli basketball that a promising coaching career begins here.
A combination of personality and knowledge.
The man was full of basketball.
See it in the high level of training of his teams, in locating excellent foreigners and the ability to progress and keep up to date and get to know every side and every corner of the game he loved so much.
Before he was a coach Liubin was a teacher.
He taught basketball, and he had so much to convey.
Naturally, we mainly followed the coaching career and the achievements and less about how many players he raised, promoted and improved, but this was his strength no less than passing a certain exercise.
Israeli basketball has lost an important and central figure who leaves behind a great legacy.
