Bayern lose against Bremen and seem extremely frustrated at the end of the game.

One scene in particular with Leroy Sané during the game speaks volumes.

Munich – After the 0-1 disgrace in the north-south duel against Bremen, Bayern’s frustration runs deep.

After the surprising defeat on Sunday, they are seven points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

The first team in the table finally looked like a real championship candidate in the furious 3-2 win in Leipzig last Saturday.

FC Bayern seven points behind leaders Leverkusen

The Munich team still has the catch-up game against Union Berlin on Wednesday in hand.

In view of the performance against Werder and the slight increase in form of the Berliners (only one defeat in the last five BL games), the three points currently seem anything but certain.

And even with a three-pointer against Union, Bayern would still be four points behind the Werkself.

All in all, the defeat against Bremen was a real mood killer.

In the early stages, there was hardly anything to be heard from the Bayern supporters.

In protest against the DFL's investor plans, the fans once again called for a boycott and even coach Thomas Tuchel got his fat off.

Bayern loses against Bremen - Sane symbol of Bayern's frustration

And from Bayern's perspective, the game was anything but a bombshell.

The record champions seemed inhibited, tired and without ideas.

There were no exciting goal scenes.

It was only in the final phase that Bayern seemed to have recognized the seriousness of the situation, but in the end they were unable to avert their first defeat against Bremen since 2008.

Accordingly, Tuchel appeared satisfied after the end of the game and admitted that for 70 minutes he didn't have the feeling "that we were playing for victory".

The symbol of Bayern's frustration was Leroy Sané, who had a negative impact in the 64th minute.

Tuchel had just reacted and made three changes with Thomas Müller, Mathys Tel and Leon Goretzka.

For Sané, the changes meant that he had to switch sides, which was met with little enthusiasm on his part.

Did Tuchel's tactical change not suit him?

Ballack takes Sane to task: “He has to work on himself”

When Müller explained to him the system change to a three-man chain and his role in it, Sane reacted with displeasure, shaking his head and making derogatory gestures.

The frustration due to a rather manageable performance was clear to see.

“The coach switched to a three-man chain.

He can save himself that!

If the coach changes it like that, he has to accept it.

“That affects the team,” DAZN expert Michael Ballack aptly analyzes afterwards.

“He has to work on himself.

It has an external impact.

If he wants to take the next step, then situations like this are part of it.”

Coach Tuchel didn't want to attach too much importance to the situation after the end of the game: “I don't attach too much importance to it because I know him.

And because I know that he always needs a minute or two to digest things that he doesn't like 100 percent.

Leroy was frustrated because he wanted to play differently, but that's not the biggest drama." One thing is clear: Bayern have to show a different face against Union on Wednesday - especially Sané.
