The players of the French XV returned to the National Rugby Center (CNR) this Monday to prepare for the next Six Nations Tournament, which will begin on Friday February 2 with a summit clash against Ireland, at the Stade-Vélodrome in Marseilles.
Except there were a lot of breakages along the way.
This Sunday, two Toulouse residents went down on one knee: third row Anthony Jelonch, once again the victim of a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right knee, almost a year after being seriously injured in the other (season ended), and the powerful second row Emmanuel Meafou, victim of a knee sprain and whose unavailability was not specified.
Fabien Galthié, during the official launch of the Tournament, sent a little word to Jelonch, who is struggling one after another:
“We wish him lots of courage, we will miss him.”
