Washington players celebrate Danny Avdia's 23rd birthday/from Washington Wizards Twitter
The clock is ticking - the trade window in the NBA will close on February 8, and in the coming days the various teams are expected to shift gears.
Some of them will surely look to get stronger, while others who have more or less given up on the playoffs will prefer to choose the opposite path and accumulate more draft picks and young players.
Washington is definitely part of the second category.
The Wizards are ranked second to last in the East with a dismal record of 35:7, with nine losses in their last ten games, and very little hope for the future.
According to the popular journalist Shams Charania, all the players in the squad are candidates for a move in the upcoming trade window - all but one: Bilal Koulibaly.
"There is only one player who is not on the table - Bilal Koulibaly," Charania said.
"That's the reality. That's the only player not considered. Teams are going to contact Kyle Kuzma and Tyus Jones."
Indeed, the 19-year-old Frenchman (2.03 m) who was selected seventh in the last draft meanwhile provides the goods.
Although the numbers are not impressive - 8.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game - but the potential, especially in the defensive part, is evident.
Almost everyone is on the table.

Charania and his friends on the network show Run It Back did not mention the name of Danny Abdia as an actor that can be built on for the future.
Former player Chandler Parrons analyzed the Wizards and said: "They stink, they stink in every way. They were lucky to get John Wall and Bradley Beal in the draft, but other than that their picks are not good. When you draft poorly, it's hard to build team. But they'll never land a really good free agent. Need a liquidation sale. I love Kyle Kuzma, I wish he would come to Sacramento. There are valuable players there. I'd take Daniel Gafford on my team."
Lou Williams added: "I thought they would make the playoffs - after Jordan Paul's season last year, I thought he would flourish there. There's a lot of talent and young players there, but that doesn't translate into wins. You have to blow everything up there. There are worse teams, but Washington is first in awkward moments".
