The professionals from Borussia Dortmund are currently not only inspiring on the pitch.
On Sunday they visited the children's clinic in Dortmund and thrilled little fans.
Dortmund – Like every year, Borussia Dortmund visited the children’s clinic at the Dortmund Clinic on Sunday.
On board were 20 BVB professionals, Edin Terzic with three colleagues from the coaching team, five players from the women's team and mascot Emma.
The stars including Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus and Niclas Füllkrug had small gifts with them, gave autographs and of course posed for selfies with the young fans.

Hospital visits are “emotional matters” for BVB stars
“It is always a very emotional matter for us,” said national striker Füllkrug about visiting the children, some of whom are seriously ill.
The Dortmund footballers were able to provide variety for the children in the hospital and made them shine.
“Today we met children who are extremely courageous and brave.
They showed us how hard they are fighting to get healthy again,” said coach Edin Terzic.
“It is an extremely important visit for us as a club, but also especially for us as a team, because we feel like we can give the children a little bit of joy on their hard journey,” added the Dortmund coach.

Visit from the BVB stars “encourages the sick children”
It has been a tradition for the Dortmund team to visit the children's clinic for several years.
This visit usually takes place in the run-up to Christmas.
In the Corona years it had to be canceled or could only take place on a small scale.
Now almost the entire team could finally be there again.
“For us, the children and their families, visiting BVB is a celebration,” Prof. Schneider is quoted on the clinic’s website.
“It also encourages them and shows that they are important.
And at the same time it recognizes the great responsibility and commitment of all our employees.”
