.: Dayot Upamecano injured his left thigh in the Bundesliga game against Union Berlin and had to be substituted at halftime.
The Frenchman will be out for now.
“It’s like magic.
Since it is a torn fiber in the thigh, we are probably talking about weeks and not days,” said Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel at the press conference after the game.
Could the injury mean a new centre-back will be signed by early February?
“I expect Minjae Kim to be back fit in two weeks at the latest, then hopefully we should get through it.
We don't panic, injuries are part of a season.
We will not throw our strategy overboard because of this,” said Tuchel, ruling out a replacement.

Trippier's move to FC Bayern is off the table

Will FC Bayern be active on the transfer market again?
According to Bild
information , the proposed change of Tuchel's dream player Kieran Trippier is
almost off the table.
As Sky also reported on Tuesday evening, Newcastle is said to have rejected FCB's offer (around 15 million euros).
If the
picture
is anything to go by , there will no longer be a new offer.
The Bayern bosses therefore no longer want to play poker and do not want to meet what they see as excessive demands.
That leaves Nordi Mukiele: The Frenchman has also been talked about as a new addition to Säbener Straße for weeks and is said to be pushing for a move to Munich himself.
But the 26-year-old's negotiations with the losing club, Paris St.-Germain, are also extremely tough.
Sky reports that the FCB bosses, similar to Trippier, are not prepared to dig deep into their pockets.
There are said to be internal plans not to sign a new right-back and to wait for the return of Minjae Kim (Asian Cup) and Noussair Mazraoui (Africa Cup).

Barcelona sports director Deco has put a stop to the departure of central defender Ronald Araujo from the TV channel Movistar.

Right-back wanted: FC Bayern is probably turning down an offer for Trippier

In courting Kieran Trippier, FC Bayern has apparently been rejected by Trippier's employer Newcastle United with an improved offer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Munich team is said to have offered around 15 million euros as a transfer fee.
Sky
reports a sum of 15 to 16 million euros.
Apparently not enough for the Magpies, who, according to Romano and various English media, rejected the offer.
Bayern had actually wanted a decision on the transfer for Tuesday, but negotiations are now set to continue over the next few days.

The reason for rejecting a loan deal is that Newcastle urgently needs transfer income to avoid problems with UEFA over Financial Fair Play.
In addition to the transfer fee in the double-digit million range, FC Bayern Munich would also have to pay the English international's lavish salary - the transfer would not be a bargain for FCB.
Another alternative in the right-back position is still Nordi Mukiele.
