The Golden State Warriors dedicated their home game tonight (Wednesday to Thursday) against the Atlanta Hawks to the late assistant coach, Diane Miljewicz.
The players wore black shirts with the Serbian word "Brate" ("brother" in English) and revealed a shirt patch with the coach's initials on the heart, which will be worn for the rest of the season.
Steph Curry, who led the team with 25 points, emphasized that the victory was dedicated to "Daki" (the Serbian's affectionate name).
Milojevic, as I recall, suffered a heart attack at a team dinner, which led to the postponement of the Warriors' next two games.

"It's been tough. It's been a very long week for everybody in the organization," Kerry said, "figuring out how we want to play, honor, share and celebrate what he was for our family, with his family here. It's hard to look at his chair empty. You know that he would love nothing more than to see us go out, compete and have as much fun as we can."
Despite the victory against the Hawks, the Warriors still face a big challenge this season in the NBA, being three wins behind the Utah Jazz in 10th place with a negative record of 19:22.
"You know Deki would love nothing more than to see us go out there compete and have fun as best we can."
