The "Deloitte" website published today (Thursday) the list of the most profitable clubs in the world for the 2022/23 season that ended last summer.
The significant news is in the first place where Real Madrid overtook Manchester City and rose to the top of the ranking.
The Blancos earned no less than 723 million pounds, while City 718 million pounds.
Paris Saint-Germain closes the top three with 697 million pounds. Barcelona is fourth (696 million) and Manchester United (649 million).

Liverpool experienced the biggest drop among all the top 20 earning clubs and dropped from third to seventh place, although their income remained almost the same (593.8 instead of 594.3), this is due to the significant increase in the profits of the other major clubs.
According to the same report, the top 20 clubs in the world earned a combined €10.5 billion, an increase of no less than 14 percent compared to the 2021/22 season.
It should be noted that this "Deloitte" test does not calculate the expenses and operating costs, but only the revenue data reported in the clubs' annual accounts.
In women's football, Barcelona is the most profitable club in the world with 11.6 million pounds in the last season, 74 percent more than the season before.
