XV of France: Gabin Villière forfeits the Tournament?

Highlights: Gabin Villière is out for six weeks with a sprain of the right knee. The Toulon winger was injured against Glasgow last Friday in the Champions Cup. He was not one of the 34 players selected by Fabien Galthié to prepare for the initial clash against Ireland, on Friday February 2 at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille. His unavailability being estimated at around six weeks, the Toulonnais should not be restored by the end of the Six Nations Tournament.

The Toulon winger, injured in his right knee, is unavailable for six weeks.

The bad news was revealed by L'Équipe.

Injured against Glasgow last Friday in the Champions Cup, the RCT winger had to leave the field in the 34th minute.

The verdict is now known.

Gabin Villière (28 years old, 16 caps) suffers from a sprain of the internal lateral ligament of the right knee
