Highlights: Amir Ganach is the future of Hapoel Beer Sheva Israel. The 19-year-old midfielder plays under former captain Eliniv Barda. Ganach has so far contributed two goals and three assists. He has been studying English, with the aim of improving his language skills. The midfielder is a member of a family of BS fans and played in the club's youth department at the age of 18, before making his way to the senior team. He is the son of actor Zion Ganach, who also works at the club.

19-year-old Amir Ganach, a member of a family of Hapoel Be'er Sheva fans, adored Eliniv Barda • Today the new diamond in the capital of the Negev plays under the former captain and "is unable to say 'no' when Eliniv asks him for something" • Another former star at the club, Maor Malikson , promises: "He is a special child, exceptionally talented"

When Amir Ganach was younger (not that he is that old today, right? He will only be 20 in July) he had pictures in his room of Eliniv Barda and Maor Malikson, then the big stars of Hapoel Be'er Sheva, who brought the first championship to the club from the Negev capital after 40 years.

Ganach, a member of a family of BS fans, dreamed of becoming a footballer and played in the club's youth department. At the age of 18, he joined the youth team, where Malikson served as the professional manager, while Breda was already the coach of the senior team.

Until that time, the young talent had ups and downs even in the boys and youth teams, and he did not always play.

But those around him say that when he raised his head and saw the two figures he admired examining him, the break-in came.

Ganach got his first opportunity in the seniors in the final cycle of last season.

Breda gave him half an hour against Maccabi Netanya, where he impressed him a lot.

After that game it was clear to the coach that in the 2023/24 season the young midfielder will get much more significant minutes in the seniors.

Breda is indeed not afraid to give the keys to the new diamond in the Negev.

Ganach participated in 17 of Beer Sheva's 18 league games, and in eight of them he also started in the lineup.

He has so far contributed two goals and three assists, and above all he provides sparks from his inherent talent.

Players at BSH claim that "he is not afraid of anything, and Barda allows him to express what he has."

By the way, those around Breda testify that Ganach reminds him a little of himself as a young player.

Haim Barda, the coach's father, would come to watch the youth team play, and would tell his son who grew up in the club a player who for many years did not grow in Beer Sheva.

"For many years we wished that a significant player would grow up from home," admitted Hapoel BS, "Amir Ganach made his way from the stands to the field, went through all the departments until the seniors, so it's no wonder that the audience connected with him so much and loves him.

He himself also felt at home from the first moment and integrated here quickly."

Maor Malikson, who saw the 19-year-old midfielder make his way from the youth team to the seniors and even served as Breda's assistant, emphasizes: "He still hasn't shown 60 percent of what he's capable of. He's a special kid, exceptionally talented. If he knows how to create continuity and stay With two feet on the ground, he will find himself in the highest places."

During the more difficult days in the youth department, Ganach was approached by other clubs.

Maccabi Tel Aviv offered him to join, Maccabi Haifa also submitted an offer to move to a boarding school in Kfar Galim and join other children from B.S. who made the journey north.

Zion Ganach, the actor's father, examined the offers, but had difficulty sending his son away from home, and also in terms of travel, together with his work at the electric company, it seemed impossible.

"There is no father who does not protect his son, I accompany him at every moment and I wanted to protect him," says Zion, "Fortunately, he is successful and brings us great pride. To hear the audience call his name is special. These days he has the right to go and cheer fighters who ask him to come to them, and despite everything he remains humble, continues to be a child of a home."

As part of the attempt to further develop Ganach on and off the field, he has recently been studying English with the aim, of course, of improving the language for the future.

In the meantime, it should help him in his conversation with his foreign friends at BSH, but it is clear that in the future, if the potential is realized, there will be a need for the language abroad as well.

Alongside this, by the way, Ganach also invests in Torah studies and is generally a person of faith.

On the grass Barda makes sure to leave him at the end of training so that he can work on his finishing in front of the goal and on penalty kicks.

Already now, the coach is not afraid to let him take stationary balls and makes it clear to him at every opportunity: "I'm behind you, just be committed and give 100 percent of yourself."

The Ganach family testifies that Amir "simply cannot say 'no' when Eliniv Barda asks him for something."

Apparently this is how it is when one of the players you admired the most as a child is suddenly your coach.

Hapoel BS are convinced that this joint journey will contribute not only to their young talent, but to the entire club and to success already this season.
